Vancouver-based author exploring the delicate spaces between memory, love, and the stories we carry.
I’m Faris, a Vancouver-based creative pursuing graphic design while building my voice as a writer. Through my course, I’ve been exploring branding, digital media, and visual storytelling, learning how to turn ideas into experiences that connect with people. Writing, however, has always been my way of capturing emotions, moments, and characters that linger beyond the page.
Vancouver itself inspires much of my work — its balance of natural beauty and cultural energy shapes how I see stories and design. Outside of studies and writing, I value simplicity, creativity, and connection, always seeking to turn fleeting moments into something lasting and meaningful.
Explore the stories I’ve created, shaped by my perspective on memory, belonging, and the human experience.
A story of love, loss, and fleeting time
Kei and Reina’s story is one of tender moments and inevitable heartbreak. Facing illness and the beauty of everyday life, their bond shows how love endures even as time slips away. Poetic and heartfelt, When the Petals Fall is my debut as a novelist, capturing the fragility and strength of human connection.
A chilling psychological thriller
Nathan and Kate return to their family home expecting faded memories, but whispers in the walls and shadows moving on their own reveal the house’s dark grip. Tension and fear build as secrets unravel. Poetic and chilling, The House That Knows is my dive into psychological horror, where the past won’t stay buried.
A glimpse into the next chapter of my literary journey
A tale of suspense, secrets, and time’s deadly echo
A chilling new psychological thriller awaits. Detective Ethan Reeves faces a past that refuses to stay buried, a mysterious letter predicting death, and a city where danger hides in every shadow. Secrets, suspense, and the fight to survive converge—The Letter from Tomorrow is my next story, where every choice could be fatal.
Expected publication: January 2024
