Design Should Make Noise
Meet Faris
Graphic Designer • Visual Disruptor • Writer of Worlds
I’m Faris — a 20-year-old graphic designer from Saudi Arabia, currently building wild, expressive, and intentional work in Vancouver. My background in illustration and colouring evolved into something bigger: a love for storytelling through visuals.
My design style is a blend of chaos and control. I gravitate toward grunge textures, messy layouts, and glitchy type — but always make sure every piece hits with purpose. Whether I’m designing an experimental poster or an entire brand identity, I chase that tension between the raw and the refined.
I specialize in branding systems that have personality. Not just logos and color palettes — but full, living visual identities that speak in tone, layout, motion, and detail. From playful water brands to fictional economies and event campaigns, I build brands that feel alive.
Outside of design, I’m also a writer. I create visual and written narratives that often mix horror, introspection, and poetic realism. My books and branding work share the same core: telling stories that break formula and leave an impression.
What I bring to the table:
-
✦ Visual identities that are bold, intentional, and story-driven
-
✦ Branding that blends digital, print, motion, and packaging
-
✦ Editorial layouts with strong typography and expressive detail
-
✦ Writing and creative direction for brands, books, and campaigns
I design with volume, write with purpose, and believe creativity should always push boundaries.
